Westinghouse SURE Roundtable - January 10

Our Wednesday, January 10, 2024, roundtable will be “face to face” at Next Tier Connect (Westinghouse Energy Center) and virtually via ZOOM.  The speaker will be Don German, Irvin/Fairless Plant Manager U. S. Steel Mon Valley Works

Have you ever admired the eagles who have been nesting in the Pittsburgh area? Do you have questions about what they eat, when they start to fly, what factors may threaten them? Eagle advocate and U.S. Steel Irvin plant manager Don German will be joining us to talk about the aerie (eagle’s nest) at the U.S. Steel Irvin plant. He’ll discuss the fledglings that have been hatched over the past few years, as well as their parents, and the importance of biodiversity. You won’t want to miss his presentation!

The program will start at promptly at 10 a.m. in the Next Tier Connect Bridges Conference Center. located at 4350 Northern Pike, Monroeville, Pa. For those familiar with the Energy Center the McGinley Rd. entrance by Forbes Hospital is also open.

There is plenty of parking in the lower lot near the building.  If you have significant mobility issues and are unable to walk to the conference center from the “handicapped” parking area (lower lot near building), "drop off" at the building entrance is available.  If that is not a viable option, please call Bob McFetridge (412-526-7358) prior to the day of the Roundtable.
