Pitt's Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science (MEMS) department hosts a symposium at the end of each term to showcase their capstone design projects. The symposium includes podium presentations of exceptional senior projects.
The University of Pittsburgh has invited SURE members to attend their senior design symposium followed by a tour of MEMS classrooms, student maker spaces and laboratory facilities.
There is no charge for this event. Lunch and parking will be provided. However, members are responsible for their own transportation to the Oakland campus.
Please answer the first 2 questions on the registration form to determine any interest in carpooling and we will try to match up attendees from the same area.
The other two questions are optional and are only included to help identify our specific audience for future types of University related activities. Your individual responses will be kept confidential and only the total numbers will be retained.
Attendance is limited, therefore advance registration is required. However, a wait list will be maintained in the event that the attendance limit is exceeded.
