Employment, earnings and the stock markets have ground higher over the past 18 months with the markets near all-time highs despite the concerns of a government shutdown, debt ceiling debates, congested ports and inflation at 30-year highs. These concerns have left many investors under-allocated to risk over the past 12 months with record levels of cash parked on the sidelines.
