Welcome to the SURE monthly Group Lunches 2.0!

It has been generally stated by public health officials that outdoor gatherings represent a much lower risk of contracting the virus than indoor venues, as well as benefiting one's mental well-being. We have decided to reboot the monthly lunches (on a trial basis) with a bring your own food and beverage event at the open-air Pack picnic shelter in Boyce Park near Monroeville.

The Pack shelter has a capacity of 50 people with eight picnic tables, two of which are wheelchair accessible. However we are limiting the initial attendance to 25 but will maintain a wait list in the event of cancellations.

Therefore we should be able to maintain social distancing between family groups with the existing tables as nearly half the floor space is open.  The other recommendations such as wearing face masks, hand washing and use of hand sanitizer (please bring your own) must still be followed. Of course, you should not attend if you are sick or feel uncomfortable in doing so.

Parking is directly across the road and a Port A John is adjacent to the shelter.
