John Yasinski will present “Nuclear Power and Climate Change”. The relative economics of our grid power sources are a significant consideration, both in the short term and the long term. Additionally, the release of carbon dioxide and toxic gases and particulates, are both environmentally and politically important. Alternative energy sources and methods of storage have been improved significantly in the last couple of decades. But all of the sources could contribute significantly to the total mix for years to come. John will present his view on the situation, based on years of experience and observation.
